A Message from Our CEO
I am writing to inform you of actions First Choice Community Credit Union is taking to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19). First and foremost, please take the necessary precautions to ensure the health, safety and well-being of your families during this unprecedented time; there is no higher priority.
As always, our highest priority is to serve you, our member owners. We are committed to providing you with uninterrupted, reliable access to the products and services you have trusted us to provide to you and your family.
LOBBY STATUS:
Currently our lobbies are open for business. Beginning Monday July 6th, in accordance with the Knox County Board of Health mandate, masks will be required while inside the credit union offices. For those that prefer not to wear a mask, our drive-thru windows are open and we are ready to assist you. We will continue to closely monitor developments to ensure we are well prepared to support you. We have a comprehensive business continuity plan and preparedness plans in place. Below are some items we want to hi-light for you:
WE'RE STILL HERE AND ABLE TO SERVE YOU:
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) Our employees have received specific instructions about the importance of washing their hands and are taking additional cleaning measures at our branches. Per CDC recommendations, we ask employees who have traveled outside of the U.S. or have been exposed to others who have traveled to affected locations to self-quarantine for 14 days. In addition, we are limiting non-essential travel. We are encouraging our employees and business providers to “Travel by Tech.” For the safety of yourself and others, we encourage you to use the drive thru facilities at each location, especially if you are not feeling well.
HOW WE CAN CONTINUE TO SUPPORT YOU:
We encourage you to use FCCCU’s online and mobile banking resources which will allow you to access your accounts 24/7. You can access your account online or by using our mobile application at your convenience. From either, you can make payments, deposit checks, transfer funds, view transactions, check your account balances, find an ATM and even apply for a loan. In most cases, it is easier and faster to manage your accounts online or via our mobile application, especially given call volumes and anticipated wait times. If you have not enrolled in online or mobile access, you may do so here.
We are sympathetic to our members that find themselves facing financial difficulties. We are here to help and encourage our members who have been impacted to reach out to us to discuss what we may do to continue to serve you.
While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of Coronavirus, it does not alter our continuous focus to serve you. We have the people, technology, and tools to do so.
